We Will Survive!

Once every 20-30 years, an event such as the New York disaster changes the way we think and what we do for the rest of our lives. As I sit here and listen to the news come forth about the lives of the people who were lost and the hero's that have been made, it reminds me of how my personal concerns and obstacles in life are so very small. Seeing pictures of people at the top of a 110 story building, realizing death was inevitable, hold hands and jump off together… I cannot bear the thought. I just wanted to go home, hug my kids and kiss my wife and tell them all that I love them.

I also want to take a minute and tell each you how much I care about you and how much I enjoy working with you each and every day. There are very few people in the world that can say they have a happy and healthy family, have friends that love them and a profession they enjoy. I am indeed blessed.

Please take a moment and pray for the people in New York. Also remember those in our family who have been in the hospital during the past few weeks including Donna, Jason, Luz, Ted and others. It is all too often that we get caught up in our business concerns that we loose track of what is really important.

Although we will never fully understand why such senseless acts have been committed, we can pull together and refuse to allow these horrible people the pleasure of seeing us live in fear. Thanks to those of you that have served in the military and have put your lives on the line for our freedom. Because of your efforts, and those currently serving, we can sleep well tonight and allow our children to go to school without fear. I feel confident that we will get through this tragedy together, stronger than ever before.

God Bless America,

Dear Jeff,

I just wanted to write a short note to express our appreciation for Missy's help during the Blitz held at our office on last Friday.

The Blitz was a great success, every person contacted ended on a positive note and numerous leads were developed. Remarkably, we accomplished a 100% hit ratio on flood and therefore are planning to set aside one afternoon a week to pursue this line of business. We plan to contact insured's by phone and follow up with a letter.

It left our office with a positive and can do attitude, again thank Missy for her many efforts.

Sincerely,

Larry Swiney
