bypassing their agency force by direct
marketing and Web marketing, Jeff
knows and firmly believes that his
district's strength lies in the relationships
between his agents and customers.
He does everything he can to empower
his agents, helping them build their
futures. His mantra is "Be in
business for yourself. Not by yourself."
Jeff became a district manager in
1998 after working as an employee
with Farmers Insurance for over 11
years. Working in Administrative Services,
Claims, Underwriting, and Auditing
have given him a very well versed
background to help new agents become
trained in all aspects of agents operation.
In his eight years as a district manager
in Houston, Texas, Jeff has consistently
exceeded his quota for new reserve
agents and career appointments; often
doubling and even tripling his quota.
Not only has Jeff excelled, but his
agents have been phenomenally successful
too. His district has grown from 23
agents with 26,000 policies in force
(PIF) to 52 agents with over 56,000
PIF. All of which was done during
the most hostile insurance environment
that Texas has ever seen, losing over
12,000 PIF in two months.
As a visionary leader
in the Farmers Group, Jeff serves
on the Texas DM Advisory Council.
