Giving back to the community
is part of the Farmers brand,
the foundation on which our
trust and respect securely rests.
Farmers supports a range of
national, regional and local
programs in the communities
where we live and work: local
sports teams and schools, the
March of Dimes and we serve
by volunteering our time, talents
and continuing the legacy of
our founder's commitment to
service.

District 65 Staff with the gifts to be donated
to needy children |
|
Our
district regularly participates
in the Giving Tree. This program
provides gifts at Christmas
to needy children. We choose
several children each year from
the "Giving Tree"
to purchase gifts for. Sometimes
these children have specific
needs and wants and we try to
satisfy both for them. Our agents
are active in donating to this
wonderful cause and we love
shopping for the kids! |

March of Dimes

Some of the
District 65 Walkers at the Annual
Walk America Event.

|
|
Every
year our District, Agents, Staff
Members, Family and Friends
come together to participate
in Walk America. We had 23 walkers
in varying ages from our district
come out to attend this walk
in 2007. It was a great day.
The money raised
goes directly to research to
find the causes of premature
birth and how it can be prevented,
to support families whose babies
must spend time in neonatal
intensive care units and to
provide women with the latest
information on having a healthy
pregnancy.
In addition
to the Walk America event, our
district also provides support
to the March of Dimes on their
"Save A Baby Day".
Last year our agents banded
together and contributed over
$4,000 to this cause!
Our goal in
2007 was even higher as we raised
$5,000 for this great cause!

|
|
40% of the parents of a missing
child cannot immediately supply
a current picture |
|
|
34% of parents do not know
their child's correct weight,
eye color or height |
m.i.l.k.®
Digital ID features:
|
|
With
just a click, the m.i.l.k.®
