Keep all records regarding vision screening and referrals, hearing
screening and referrals and immunizations – notification,
follow up and arranging for free shots at the campus for those
who are unable to pay and travel for immunizations. Arrange for
immunizations for staff. Make sure all children with vision and
hearing needs receive exams and glasses or hearing devices. Support
staff in meeting their personal and professional health needs.
Organization of the clinic and prepared for emergencies as they
happen. Co- facilitates the KAP groups with the children who are
identified at risk. Conduct some therapy with angry children,
tutor children and provide a tremendous amount of tender loving
care and attention. Chair the following committees: Referral committee
– keep all records so that the principal and diagnostician
know exactly where each folder is in the time-line process; Risk
Management Committee, Safe and Drug Free Schools, 504 Committee,
all health related issues, member of Shared Decision Making Committee,
and attend ARD’s when invited. Teach health-related topics
