Memorial Hermann - has completed its new $98-millon, state-of-the-art 125-bed hospital. It is located at the northwest corner of the Grand Parkway and I-10. In addition, the adjacent $16-million physician owned medical building has also been completed.

Christus St. Catherine Hospital – underwent a major $45-million dollar 2-year expansion project that nearly doubled the patient capacity. There is also the recently completed 80,000 square foot medical-office building and out-patient surgery center.

Methodist Hospital – is under construction on its 33-acre project on the north side of I-10 and just east of Fry Road. The plans are to build a new community hospital similar to the one in Sugarland.

Texas Children's - acquired 55-acres at the northwest corner of I-10 and Barker Cypress. Plans should be unveiled by years end.

In addition to the above major hospitals there are also local emerg-a-centers, physical therapy, rehabilitation centers and nursing care facilities.
